I saw this film only because of a reel showing Aish expressions.
This film was released way before I was born😅
But coming to the film, cinematography is good, acting is superb, but I couldn't really absorb the plot, like when aish and salman were in love, it looks more like situationship than love, as there was no other option available so they develop feelings, and what crazy feelings they have, she was even ready to die for him.
But in the end, she choose Ajay, and I could not really relate to this thing, but when I think deep about it, it seems reasonable according to that era, because in 90s, there were many cases when marriages without love happened. And many brides lived with this burden that, what if they have fought for love, and they saw their current husband as a villain.
So as Ajay helped Aish to meet Salman, but then she rejected Salman, so after seeing this many female viewers would think that, why soo much trouble, she could easily have lived a happy life with Ajay from the beginning if only she has given him a chance. And that's what the directors wants to display, so now after seeing this brides would think to give a chance to their marriage and not think about their past love.
However in 2024, may be this is not so true, times have changed, people have changed, and people don't want to sacrifice so much just for their family reputation.
