The movie is just disappointing. (Spoilers ahead— seriously don't read if you don't want spoilers. I'm basically saying what others are saying) The mannerisms and actions of the "creeper" is just not it. Based on the 1st and 2nd movies, it picks its victims by the scent of their fear and takes the body part it wants from them. It doesn't kill just anyone unless they get chosen— or played (2nd movie with the students). The creeper has this sorta psycho stalker vibe that should be unstoppable. It takes its time because it knows this (like the car scene after the cat lady got killed in the first movie). The "creeper" in this movie is just far from it. It acts more like a relentless killing machine thing. Just because it kinda looks like the creeper, with the sniffing and the nono finger move, doesn't mean it's successful in being the creeper. The movie is successful in being gore-y, but scary? Not so much. Also, I'm sure the crew and the actors did their best but, honestly, this is just bad writing. I wanna sugar-coat it but I currently don't possess the idea on how to do that. First, what is up with cult? It doesn't make sense. A preacher who is against the whole party is working with two others who are into voodoo and all that stuff? Their beliefs don't align and where's the context? Second, Mr. MC guy is gonna propose where? Third, why does the cult need a sacrifice or whatever Miss MC girl is supposed to be? Does the "creeper" want her still clump-of-cells kid, her liver, her kidney, stomach or her uterus? Or does the "creeper" want a wife cuz somehow after years of killing, it's feeling lonely? I mean I already know the answer to this but this it's fun to imagine that after years of killing, the "creeper" would randomly feel lonely and would want a wife and kids lol. It would have been a great addition if the premonition with the cult members did happen but instead of remaining untouched, a few of them got torn open and eaten since they possess a body part that fits the "creeper"'s criteria just right . I could list more but I'll make this the last but not the least one, when the "creeper" was eating the brain of Miss I-am-a-Youtuber and his coat was open, was that a low-key flex that it's s hot and worth fawning over just because, even though it's clearly portrayed that it has killed A LOT of people? Just generally curious on that one tbh😶
