As a hardcore Marvel fan, Avengers: Endgame was phenomenal! Very epic. Undoubtedly a buyer. This film is definitely my favorite out of the four Avengers movies and one of my favorites out of all 23 films. Speaking honestly, I think this film was a great conclusion, or climax, to the franchise. Very memorable. There was a variety of awesome and iconic moments and all actors and actresses did a fantastic job at their roles. Of course, awesome casting, awesome acting, awesome directing, awesome everything. ;) <3
Here are the pros and cons of the film. *SPOILERS AHEAD*
PROS
- Fantastic character development. Although, Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner A.K.A Hulk may be disappointing and upsetting to others.
- Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton A.K.A Hawkeye had a bigger role in the film, which he deserved. Paul Rudd's Scott Lang A.K.A Ant-Man also got a ton of screen time, which I loved. <3
- This film is filled with tons of unforgettable moments. Especially Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark A.K.A Iron Man snapping his fingers while wielding the Infinity Stones, Chris Evans's Steve Rogers A.K.A Captain America wielding Mjölnir, and Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff A.K.A Black Widow sacrificing her life for the Soul Stone. <3
- This film absolutely knows how to get to the feels. Very emotional and soul-stirring in a very powerful way.
- When it comes to my personal opinion, Brie Larson's Carol Danvers A.K.A Captain Marvel only got less than 20 minutes of screen time in a 3 hour film, which I was contented about. (No unnecessary hate by Brie Larson fans.)
- Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark A.K.A Iron Man and Chris Evans's Steve Rogers A.K.A Captain America "kissed and made up" in this film. Their relationship was restored pretty nicely. Not too overdone. Lots of Stony moments. <3
CONS
- Josh Brolin's Thanos did an awesome job like always. Although, Avengers: Infinity War was definitely his movie. But don't worry, he owns 181 minutes of the film.
- The Quantum Realm time traveling was very difficult to understand and did not make sense at some points. When it comes the this, there are many plot holes that connect with Avengers: Endgame, Ant-Man, and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
- I'm being completely honest, there are some embarrassing, humiliating, and awkward moments of the film. Especially when it comes to Chris Hemsworth's Thor.
- There is a cringe moment that lasts for less than 5 minutes.
- I was not satisfied with Chris Evans's Steve Rogers A.K.A Captain America's ending.
- Some character development was thrown away. For example, Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Zoe Saldana's Gamora, and Tom Hiddleston's Loki.
Overall, this was an awesome movie! Loved it!
10/10
We miss you, Tony Stark. <3
