I think it tried too many things and did not succeed in all. But you cannot deny it has a heart. Every superhero tells more or less the same story of Hero vs villain. This one tries to tell a message that is true for the time we live now. That victory at any cost is evil, that truth matters. That world sometimes might feel like a horrible place but is too beautiful if you look around. Along with greed, loneliness, love, bereavement, letting go...you get the idea. But I love to think that someone would make a super hero movie that celebrates the emotions of common man. Rather than let's make a flick that milks fandom, popcorn friendly with bantering heroes and cool fights.
WW84 has wonderful action set pieces. The opening one in the arena with Han Zimmer score is one for the ages. Still can't shake the feelings of the first view of arena. I teared up a little. First movie after lockdown and it was as grand as first view of Atlantis in Aquaman. Scores elevated it to inhuman levels.. Take a bow ...patty gal every one...it lifted my heart...DC Fan for life....
