I'm trying to force my way through this but...no...just...no. Next time just write your own tv show like you did but have some integrity and leave another individuals creation alone. I mean come on! Is no one else even the least bit offended that Louis from the original Anne Rice Novel was a bored little rich boy whose family were wealthy plantation owners and owned many many slaves, so you what? Change the entire character and his original history and decide ...oh , you know what would be a great idea? If we make Louis a black man and just forget the whole slave owner thing. The whole readon he was so wreckless in life was because he hated how his family was he hated the thought of owning people for the sole purpose of using them for hard labor, he was destructive because he was trying to destroy the legacy and even more self hating because he caused his brothers death in his self destruction. No one could possibly notice rewriting an entire character!!! What is wrong with you ???

I went into it expecting Anne Rice to not allow Hollywood to rip apart one her masterpieces. Hoping, that it would be at least as true to the story as Interview With a Vampire was ( the Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise version).*Sigh. Instead I was very quickly reminded of the travesty that was Queen of the Damned. Sad. Terrible. So watered down and ripped apart it might as well be tossed out with the dish water! With Anne Rice no longer with us, it's far too obvious that those she left behind could care less about her legacy, and far more about how to cash in on it! Shame on you!
