I was disappointed that so much was made up. It could be a fascinating story without the Barnum affair. I think it was added to have sex in the story to sell more books. Story dragged on too much. I couldn’t follow the description of bridge building. Pictures would have been helpful. When author was writing about diagrams why not include them.
