As a lifelong Sci-Fi fan, books and movies, the acting is refitting, believable with the kids playing as seasoned professionals. The sets, CGI and cinematography is amazing and I can clearly see that a reported budget of 200M$ allowed such an outstanding feel to the series. What I don't get is: 1) How could the aliens that are killing folks (if that is what they are) can build their spaceships with no clear digits to handle tools or objects, 2) Where and what is that material that (SPOILERS) destroys the alien grow come from? 3) As with other Sci-Fi concepts of a Hive Mind, how do these aliens benefit from it? 4) How could the spaceship that we see at the end of the series get there with out being noticed by radar as it is huge.
All in all a drama well done but, a Sci-Fi with too many hole for my taste. Like "A Quite Place" the aliens are there for terror and mayhem but without any tie to the real world, physics or science.
