This film shows DJT exactly as he is. As we have all seen since the 70s when he became a public figure. It offers him some imagined interiority, which you could see as sympathetic, or countered against the heinous choices he makes. The story and the production are exceptional, but truly the performances by all three stars is what deserves your time and theater-going dollars. Strong doesn't shy away from showing us how utterly craven Cohn is, and yet we are hesitatingly empathetic to him in the back end of the film. Bakalova is a delight to watch, and is generous to Ivana's memory. Stan's portrayal blew me away; watching trump become trump with every passing moment was mesmerizing. Between his detailed work on this character and the costumers and hair/makeup team, he was incredibly crafted. This movie is unmissable. Congratulations to Director Abbasi.
