This film has so many good reviews but if you made it to the end I don’t know how you could possibly like this.
It starts out so interesting a really unique concept, I was really hooked but by the end I found that it was trying really hard to be very deep but it didn’t work.
There were SO many unanswered questions…
SPOILER
Why were they stupid enough to go off the platform at the lowest level even to get the girl? how was the girl surviving? Just by hiding under a bed? Why couldn’t he go back up with her? What was the stupid panna cotta going to do? They obviously know about the amount of dead people in the pit, as of they were going to see a dessert and be like “wow they really showed me let’s shut this whole thing down.”
How did they get off being so righteous about saving people and everyone having enough when they were literally murdering everyone on the way down who didn’t listen to them within seconds. Why was the main character so obsessed with saving the woman looking for her child? She was a literal murderer? She was murdering innocent people every month. He was willing to die for her at the end and it didn’t seem realistic. Why would they allow the girl to eat the panna cotta because she looked hungry (she looked fine) when they literally slaughtered hundreds of people to get to that point?
So many questions and not enough answers. Ending ruined it and therefore 2 stars.
