I just find it wasn’t as magical as the other movies “/

Even tho it came out last year this film is really dated. This film is about people complaining about how things aren’t what they used to be and “snowflakes”. Which I found quite ironic because they’re complaining about people being overly offended whilst being offended by everything themselves…just a really cringey and embarrassing. If this film was about perpetuating ignorance, toxicity and right wing propaganda it did a great job. I lost brain cells watching this.

The film was executed well. I expected so much more. But honestly it’s slow, never ending, with a few shock factors in. Acting and cinematography was amazing but the actual writing made it poor and tedious.

Basically a teenager is being a teenager and over reacts and checks himself into a psych ward, where he realises he doesnt actually have problems hes just being self centred and small minded. Single handedly in 5 days he manages to get his room mate of his room who hasnt ever left that room since he arrived! Made everyone in the psych hospital really happy by buying them pizza and bringing them music! Finding a girlfriend! Realising that everyone adores his singing and drawing! Then he goes home basically fixing everyone with new friends! Such a unrealistic story line. Un-creative. Boring and shallow. Yes it may have a good quotes in there but im sure if you sat on tumblr for less then 5 minutes you could learn exactly the same "inspirational quotes". Shallow for the fact that the people in the psych ward seem to be there for only depression or schizophrenia. The person wrote this clearly has limited knowledge about the mental health system, illnesses and how unwell someone actually needs to be to be sectioned! Its a insult! Pointless!
