This was one of those movies that you walk into with such high hopes and walk out in agony. While Adam Sandler’s acting was spot on, the movie had no entertainment value what so ever. If you want to pay the high cost of seeing a movie I strongly suggest another one. The first 15 minutes of the movie were so confusing wanted to get up and leave, but I kept thinking it has to get better. You’re following the life of a gambler who continues to press his luck. One scenario after another....yawn. Oh and let’s not forget the cinematography, i have no idea what they were doing, perhaps it was to make you feel like you were in the scenes? I don’t know. It wasn’t well done. I can’t get that 2.25 hours back but maybe I can save you from wasting yours...
