So historically innacurate it is laughable that any real research was even done before making this film. The battle of Stirling Bridge is missing the most important element of the battle. The f'n bridge. A 3 hour irritating movie with so many flaws and Mel Gibsons absolutely shocking attempt of a Scottish accent. No idea how this was even nominated for awards let alone won the f'n things. Braveheart wasn't even a name attributed to William Wallace!
