I think people are missing the real point of the trilogy. It not about showing the world there are Superhuman, but it not ok to hide superhuman or to accept that you not super in your own right. That secret society been doing it for century disproving the existence of superheroes because they cannot accept someone better than them existing. I read a short story once where humanity no longer accept those who are gifted. The would find want to make super smart people unable to focus so they can exist in this society and be like the normal. Yet it the extraordinary that change the world and create the next leap in humanity evolution.
