Selena Aussie

From my mom a huge Mary Poppins fan! I thought the movie was excellent! The cast did an excellent job creating a new movie from the old movie and providing little hints to the original movie that possibly have been forgotten over the years such as the history behind the clock losing 5 minutes. I loved the new songs and truly appreciated how they kept the same theme as the original movie but explored a new age in time. I also loved how the big named actors were able to have their spotlight moments but didn’t rob from the star cast. Both actors who played Mary Poppins and Jack really did a great job of portraying the characters from the original movie but brought a newness to their roles. Excellent movie especially for a sequel!
