This movie is just art, that entertains you for the time it runs and that's all you should expect. The music, the lightings, the location, the shots, the jokes, the characters, the slomos, everything, makes the movie worth watching in theatres. After the movie, I took a breath and thought of the plot I was surprised how they managed to make it all work with such a plot. Got exhausted out of feeling pleasure watching this. And I heard multiple people say they didn't even know the time pass as the intermission was shown. The tone of the movie is set once they introduce the rifle club. No spoilers: They introduce the 3 men passionate about RIFLES and their entire family living under one roof and whatever happens inside feels like a weird dream you'd see, but once they introduce the rifle club and understand it's vibes and it's characters, you'd just somehow get sucked into that reality, and somehow they made it all work and we were just laughing our asses off for the entire fucking movie with the tone the introduction to the rifle club set. Hanumankind did well too considering it's his first movie. After a point I was hoping for a boring scene just to catch a breath and take rest & And the music was insane from start to finish, I'd say you'd enjoy the movie a lot even if the plot is pretty simple because of how artistically pleasing everything is, the comedy, music and the shots.

I have to post how ridiculously stupid this movie is just because Joju cannot accept criticism at all, the movie was great to watch until the climax that just makes the entire movie and the good characters look incredibly STUPID. The revenge is VERY VERY lackluster given that he had multiple opportunities to kill two supposedly teenage boys, who raped this big former gunda's wife, killed his friend who was also big gunda, and since he CHOSE to not kill them after that, they sliced his next friend who's also a gunda and hit Joju's old age mother on her face, ALL WHILE THEIR pictures were circulated among all gundas of the Thrissur district. You'd think that would make sense but when you see how he finally kills them, it would just make the entire movie look stupid. Their assaults were shown well in the most disturbing infuriating way possible that invokes so much anger towards the two boys, which was captivating from a storytelling pov making us feel really want to see them suffer. BUT they're doing this against all odds being two little teen boys while the entire gunda circle have their pictures for months, the bigger problem comes from how stupid the final revenge makes the entire gundas and Joju look. Basically when you see him not kill him by car twice, not shoot them on road and carefully plan to shoot them to not kill them but to injure them to get them to hospital and local police station instead of central prison where they're out of his reach, ANYONE WITH A SANE MIND WOULD THINK that when he FINALLY gets his hands on them, he would pluck out their nails, or cut off their genitals or legs or hands or all three, or stab them in their eye or anything like that. But INSTEAD, he did all of this just to BLAST THEM in 0.5 seconds, which is the CLIMAX. Which makes the entire plot D-U-M-B, they would've had a more painful death if he instead gave them Pneumonia or even COVID ffs, or let them go to prison and get raped by other men? Once you know all he would do is tie them up and blast their asses off out of existence in less than a second, you will feel Joju let his mom's face smashed and his friend diced just so he could personally give them an easy mercy killing as a "revenge". He didn't kill them on purpose three times which lead got his gunda friend killed, another gunda sliced like a fruit and his mom's face stabbed all after they showcased the most disturbing rape on Malayalam cinema history so that he could get them to the astral plane before they even realised they are about to die. It's like the teenage boys went up 5-0 in a football match and the organisers said the score is reset to 0-0, and then Joju scores 0-1 and wins the game. It doesn't even feel like the good guy actually won, especially since it was all of gundas of Thrissur vs two dumb kids who had no one to help them, and the reason for it was how the movie was built up and how stupidly the "revenge" (or in better terms: mercy killing) was done. It's already so unrealistic, but if we take that part out and try to look past it, the mercy killing just makes Joju's character look like a stupid idiot and we'd feel like applauding the boys even if they showcased some of the most disturbing scenes in Malayalam cinema history. That's how stupid Joju's character was in this movie.
