The holidays can be a very lonely time for many people...especially those who are struggling with depression, coping with a loss or really don’t have anyone to enjoy it with. This movie is an excellent portrayal of how those people are feeling and what they can do to turn things around & find joy in even the littlest of things in life.
Emilia’s character (Kat) is lovely while Henry’s character (Tom) is charming and no matter who you watch this movie with, you’ll be able to see a little bit of yourself in at least one of the characters if not more.
There will be a plot twist you didn’t see coming and it might change your feelings about the movie but in the end, you’ll leave the theatre feeling a little more grateful for the people in your life and the experiences that have made you who you are.
This is one of those feel-good movies that only comes a few times each generation and when it’s playing on TV or available to stream in the future, you’ll want to stop what you’re doing and just watch cause it’s that good. 😉
