For somebody who grew up on classics like Shakespeare, Chaucer, Keats, Shelley et al, and then came to love action, thriller and romance, I have graduated from since a 20 year old lad appreciating movies like Ardh Satya in Hindi, Jeremy Brett's superlative and unparalleled acting as Holmes in the BBC adaptation of Sherlock Holmes to Sean Connery in Finding Forrester...I discovered the wonderful world of Turkish TV series and films. This series rates in my book for someone who has a penchant for ANGST, as one of the best Turkish series. Others I watched starting with Engin and Tuba in Kara Para Ask and Tuba and Kivanc in Cesur & Guzel. Turkish customs, traits religion and norms has so much similarity to Indian and bears tremendous similarities. In a nutshell, I am going to sorely miss these two when this series i all said and done. Till then my friends...I AM HAVING A BALL !!
