I am double vaccinated, angered and disgusted at the constant stream of Queensland and WA bashing enshrined in the Drum's Covid coverage. As demonstrated in the conversation between Claire Harvey and Ellen Fanning on 6/9/21, despite the tragic, unfolding debacle in NSW, you constantly engage in a pathetic blame and shame game that paints Covid free states as being delusional and living in a fool's paradise. We are not. We are acutely aware that Delta could break out anywhere. I am deeply grateful that our political leaders and health officials have the wisdom and courage to take the difficult steps to try to stave off outbreaks until vaccination coverage reaches targeted levels, particularly because vaccine doses are being diverted from Queensland and WA to NSW. So while I am happy to live in paradise, I am more than annoyed that your program arrogantly labels Queenslanders and West Australians as fools. Have a close look at yourselves.
