This is imo, the best sci-fi series, on par with if not better than doctor who. The effects and CGI are pretty good, the character development is great. The plot is actually quite ingenious and frankly eye opening, showing us the possibilities of what things could be like if we ever colonized our system and the progression of civilizations as they encounter new obstacles. The entire thing is done really well and I'm thoroughly looking forward to reading all the books.
