The only thing I appreciate about this movie is it's cinematography, rest is horrible. Poor narration with lousy direction, random jumping from one scene to another without any prior plot development, it was so pathetic. Characters are half baked and problematic I must say, especially the male lead. Acting was also very poor and their Bengali pronunciation is so bad ! It'll definitely make you irritated. The purpose of the movie was to depict the pure relation between human and animals, which could have been done in a much better way I believe. The movie doesn't bring any justice to this subtle relationship of a man and an animal ( here the dog). Overall, TERRIBLE !

"Bandish Bandits" is a beautifully woven musical tale about age old Indian classical music, clashes with contemporary pop and an attempt to preserve it's glory. The entire show will definitely be treat to the ears. It's been ages since mainstream cinema or serials has presented the audience such beautiful pieces. Thanks to Anant Tiwari for such brilliant piece and Thanks to Shankar-Ehsan-Loy for amazing composition. It's good hear Javed Ali and Shankar sir himself after ages, Shivam Mahadevan was also brilliant. The cast was marvelous, I was stunned to see how flawlessly each actors have mastered the gestures in the role of singers. Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Ritwik Bhowmik and Sheeba Chaddha just won my heart. This musical journey must continue, eagerly waiting for a season 2.
