I just watched the whole series and I like it a whole lot. WHY? Because it’s different than all of the other Star Trek tv series (yes I’ve seen them all Star Trek, Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager, and Enterprise). It is way more grittier, violent, and less campy that the other series. They also added a gay couple in Star Trek series and an extremely non-human looking commander. People actually died and violently, something that didn’t ever happen in any of the series. The fight scenes were good and scripted well and the cgi was decent. I am waiting for the 2nd season to see if they can continue the legacy of what’s to come.
