The execution of the movie was really bad for various reasons.
1) This film feels like a combination of ideas from Our Times and You Are The Apple of My Eye, and they seem to have forgot to infuse their own ideas of "My Bestfriend's Breakfast" into the show.
2) There were many introduction of new characters halfway through the movie, that served no purposes that I was confused with the idea of the movie - For example, was it about reunion? Was it about the transition of present to future? In addition to this, there were too many couple pairings in the movie that was not properly dealt with.
3) Some of the messaging/ advice were toxic - For example, the 15 years later self asked the current self why she did not want to take the courage to confess when she has eaten 1 year of breakfast from the guy.
4) The love portrayed in the movie was very traditional, where there was a lot of push and pull and little open conversation happening between the couple.
5) The editing (i.e. sound, camera effects) was not great at all.
The only thing that they did right was hiring Eric Chou and the only good scene was the ending, which seem to have a recency effect of viewers that provided positive reviews for this movie. Overall rating is 1/10, not worth watching even when it is out online. Note: I am the type of viewer who is a sucker for rom-com/ rom genre and this movie was really still in editing phase 1.
