The main character was so unlikeable. She was bratty, selfish, and over-confident. Yes she was a genius Medical Examiner but she was constantly losing control of her emotions, firing off her mouth creating enemies with known criminals and murders which constantly put her unprotected daughter and herself at risk. The rest of the characters and the compelling story lines saved the show from being a complete bomb.
