This show does not hold a candle to it's namesake. I forced myself to watch the first 5 episodes to try and give it a fair chance but the story telling is little more than a long string of gender crisis and drab plot line forcing further political divide between viewers. Perhaps it would be nice to see unity and overcoming of diversity portrayed but we all know division fuels controversy. Fueling the notion of there being no such thing as bad press. I was excited for an emotionally gripping Rollercoaster of mystery, science fiction and super hero abilities. Instead I feel the writers beating me over the metaphoric head with their brand of partizan social justice instead of just telling a story. Fans of the original series, like myself, were interested in a good sci-fi story and it is too bad that funding cut it short. I am going back to rewatch the original to try to wash the bad taste out of my mouth. But don't take my word for it. Try watching it yourself and give it an honest chance. Maybe the 2021 version of 4400 strikes a chord with you
