Dougs first debut on the big screen isn’t anything too impressive, but it holds a special place in my heart due to watching it over and over as a child. Rewatching it as an adult, this movie is rather slow, pacing is rather all over the place, things happen so instantly that there really isn’t really time to take it in and react to it. The movie also tried really hard to give everyone in the show a part but just ends up feeling shallow. The plot starts very quickly but doesn’t take off until the the first 20-30 minutes and after that it just drags on. The conflict is resolved rather quickly and doesn’t feel satisfying. Voice acting is alright and decent, close to the original Nickelodeon show. Dougs first movie isn’t anything to write home about, but if you watched it as a young child like me, you probably just love it for the nostalgia.

The game leaves a lot to be desired. I have finally played through the entire thing and collected about 85 of the Golden Spatulas. I can say that the game needs a lot of work done, it’s a buggy and glitchy mess, sometimes sound effects just don’t work making the game feel a bit empty, the multiplayer is an awesome feature.. but I can’t see why it’s a 2 player mode or why it even exists, it feels lack luster and was probably rushed into the game at the last minute. Rehydrated is a nostalgic trip for all fans of the original game, and I feel as though those fans will get the most out of this game rather then people who have never heard of this game, collect-athon platformers are not games you see to often in this day and era, and this game may receive some false judgment from those not open to this type of game play. The game was fun to play, but it’s not without its set backs, at times it was very frustrating to play.
