Outrageously funny, as always. I must admit though, my favorite part is the still shot at the end. This beautiful image of the notoriously angry, grouchy, intolerant Bill Burr somehow looking like a gentle giant holding his toddler in his arms. You can feel the familial love, trust, comfort and deep sentiment she feels for this man who can never be equaled by any other as long as she lives. He's not just Bill Burr, the comedian...he's Bill Burr, the loving father of a sweet little girl who loves him unconditionally and needs him more than anyone ever has.

This book is an illuminating examination of a very serious topic made easy-to-read for all. From the clever use of the word "Simply" in the title to the accompanying illustrations employing a hand-drawn stick figure, the message of self-awareness and transformation is presented in a gentle yet highly effective manner. Much of the effectiveness of 'Negativity & Drama Are Simply Ridiculous" is in its use of first-person description of the stages of realization leading to the resulting self-acceptance, freedom, growth and continuing success. As the reader, you are able to examine a sort of snapshot of yourself without the typical feelings of regret and failure. The character, MeMe, allows us to realize the human-ness of our life experiences and helps us to release the weight of self-judgement. This book is well worth reading.
