I have just finished reading this book and am full of admiration for the author not to sugar coat mental health issues. The author speaks with huge honesty grit and directness. Her story is very easy to engage with as most of us have an idea of what panic and anxiety feels like, some in great degrees and some less. In this searingly honest account of one person's unique journey, she decides to take full personal responsibility, in her own time and when she can. The pacing and use of vocabulary are just easy, interesting, and sparky. This book is a generous read of humility and humbleness and is very funny in parts and very typically Irish but would reach most people in the world as we are all just human coming from the same imperfect humanness.
