i believe all 3 hobbit trilogy films are great in their own right. As a huge fan of the original trilogy of LOTR it was nostalgic and breath taking being able to have a prequel installment with such beauty. I can understand why some can speak negatively but only if you are looking for flaws deeply could you possibly hate these films
