This film needed a great making of the book. When this was announced, I was sceptical that, as a true fan, I could find out any more. Was I wrong? John Walsh should get an award for finding so many great images and digging up the truth about the making of the movies. There is so much here besides the classic 1982 film which catapulted Arnold to mega-stardom. The unmade Oliver Stone film, who knew? The book feels like a luxury Taschen volume, yet it is not at a killer price. I was lucky to snag one early one. Many online stores have already sold out on day one! John Walsh is the master of these books. He has five under his belt, with a sixth due in October on the crazy Brit horror, The Wicker Man. Thank Crom, this book was in Walsh’s hands. I’m off to claim my free signed bookplate and bookmark from the author. What a Gent!
