Shin Hae Sun was exceptional in this sageuk drama. Kim Hyun-jung was the perfect fit for the role of the king as well. I hope he finds similar projects in the future. His character here (as it had been for Crash-landing) is a perfect blend of serious and funny. Looking forward to his next project. I just wish that in the end they showed the character of Jong Bong-hwan become sensitive to the female gender after what happened to him. The whole cast was wonderful! I know some people are upset that they distorted history, but they never claim it to be based on history anyway. It was funny and entertaining. I love watching sageuk and wish my country would have something similar (on second thought, we do have a few). I'd watch a second season if there will be one. Highly recommended :) Watched the prequel and it was sooo funny!

Tatiana Maslany you have a fan for life! Well-made series, I wish there would be more episodes. Each sister so distinct, you'd really think it's another person entirely.

It's Kim Yoo Jung and sageuk, what more do I need to say? The cast was good. The chemistry between the actors was palpable. My heart ached for Prince Yangmyeong and in my mind he won over his brother (in one of the episodes, the head shaman said that he was destined to be the ruler so holding on to that). Highly recommended.

Refreshing to see Lee Young-ae in this role, so different from the roles she usually portrays. I like the dynamics of Team Kyung-yi. Though honestly, I am equally enthralled with Yi-kyung's ingenuity. Hope to see more seasons (Please, please, please)
