Yakuza 3 is not entirely a terrible game, it's just very forgettable. From the main story to characters the game has nothing memorable in it. The new characters introduced in the game are bland, the story is slow and takes way too long to even progress and once it does it's just.... extremely uninteresting. The combat is the worst specially when you're coming from 0 and Kiwami remakes. Enemy AI blocking your every move so your only option is to bait them for parry attack or attack from behind i.e. a painfully tedious experience. It's not even hard or challenging but just tedious and obnoxious. Everything good in the game comes from the side content like the substories, the hostesses in Kamurocho (not the Okinawa ones), Revelations which was a really fun concept introduced in this entry, Soundtrack of the game, and some karaoke songs are good but that's about it really. Though, worst of it all were the hitman missions and the conclusion of it, Just did not feel right It's definitely something I WILL NOT recommend unless you're a die hard Yakuza fan or in simple words, a masochist you loves to torture themselves with the lame story and tedious combat.

It's not really a review to the game itself but rather a word to the idiots giving their "subjective" opinions here. Games like Saints Row isn't nearly about the story but rather the craziness in it and Saints Row 3 delivered it right. It has a decent customization, lots of over-the-top moments (which is its selling point) cool cheat system and upgrading your overall skill etc. I don't get why people even judge this game for the story. I agree it isn't the strongest point of the game but it isn't supposed to be either. It's an open-world game ffs. Linear games NEEDS to have top to the bottom great storytelling. I haven't played the first Saints Row but 3 is obviously better than 2 in almost every aspect. 2 had horrible driving, subpar graphics and gameplay and awful physics. Only thing I would say Saints Row 3 was really weak in was the pedestrians. They all look the same and it's downright lazy tbh. Other than that, this game is fine. 7-7.5/10 easily
