This is my new favorite series of the year. 10/10. Based on Stephanie Land's Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive (2019), it's a sobering story but one that's also deeply authentic and insightful. And it gets better with each episode. If you want to watch something great on Netflix over the winter break, this is it.
