I love watching Leone's growth. It's graphic, it's torturous, it's not for a sensitive person, for sure. But watching this story unfold is a privilege. He peppers in just enough backstory into the present, but not too much, that he hasn't contradicted any of the previous works, and it isn't overly saturated with plot-hole filling. There are still plenty of gaps and a ton of room for him to tell more. And I LOVE he direction it's going in. I actually appreciate the intensely violent and creative nature of the action, because those committing violence are demonic in nature. And demons SHOULD be capable of significantly more depraved acts of violence. Everything just keeps getting exponentially better. From the house made music, to the acting, the cameos, and definitely the writing. Oh, and he leaned more into the comedic side this time, and it felt natural. Overall, I was completely happy with it and I can't wait for the next one.
