It's another movie turned into a TV series with a female lead instead of the male from the movie. Dennis Quade as Frank Sullivan and Jim Caviezel as John Sullivan in the original classic 90's movie is a lot better as it's in a tighter time frame due to the Aurora. Unlike The Equalizer where they also gender changed the lead of Denzel Washington in the movies to Queen Latifa for the TV series, Frequency doesn't have the same wiggle room due to the time period available. Only a few remakes get any traction and this wasn't one of them.
