On a regular basis movies and TV series are made based on subject matter that have underlying agendas. It's a bit bizarre that the biggest complaint critics have about Sound of Freedom is that it has an agenda. Of course it does. But so do 90% of all film. Supporting a film broadly means supporting the agenda - in this case, general awareness of child slavery and the sex trade. It's a hard watch but it provides a glimpse into poverty gaps that exist and the exploitation that can take place in those vast gaps in society. Highly recommend watching Sound of Freedom. It's a slow burn but well written and.great cinematography.
