I remember first watching this on WOR tv Million Dollar Movie in the mid 50s, growing up in New Jersey.
To me this is the ONE and ONLY version of “ A Christmas Carol” worth watching. I would not watch the colorized version but the original black and white which captures the gothic nature of the movie.
