I was not a fan of Judy Garland before. I thought she was neurotic and frightening. Now I see her as neurotic but moreso, brave and adorable as a woman. And a bluebird. And a raw and true megawatt phenomenon.
The film tells a story of the damage done and redemption through love. It's fictionalized enough, but easy to recognise as true. Viva Judy, and thankyou. Brilliant.
