Clearly the term comedy has changed its definition over the years. Ya the show had few good moments (Amit's, Kenny's performance) but then other than that its plain and blunt.
The format is obviously copied from our Western counterparts but that's alright but at least try to be creative in making jokes.
License to creative thinking and speaking does not mean you have to utter a vulgar word in every line of the sentence you vomit.
I love a good comedy show and after watching CPL I had to re-watch single stand up comedies of Amit Tandon, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Aditi Mittal, Zakir Khan, Gabriel Iglesias to check if I still have my humerus bone intact (;)).....
In short,
Slandering your family + Usage of "s*x" word + C**d de+all hindi abusive terms + forced laughter from host (obviously paid well to do so)= Comedy Premier League.
