When I first listened to this album a few years ago, I was extremely disappointed. I hated how raw and slow it was, but I relistened to it recently and absolutely loved it. The rawness makes it feel like he (Kid Cudi) trusts you, and he's opening up. And as I've matured, this album has made more sense to me and has made me love it more. Easily a top 20 album, in my opinion. If you listen to it, listen to it with an open mind, and that when Cudi made this album; at the time, he just was angry and sad and just wanted to yell angry words.
