One of the best film adaptations of "A Christmas Carol," with perhaps the best Scrooge of all time played by Alastair Sim. This a great film from post-war Britain.

One of the most beautifully filmed movies of the Amazon. It will transport you to another world if you let it. Look beyond the storyline.

Sixteen years old? The main character looks closer to 30. I love going to the OBX and this is a fun series but the central characters of "kids" and especially the police do really stupid things all the time. I'd like to actually see the Outer Banks instead of South Carolina, including the mosquitoes at night. Fun series but requires good amount of suspension of disbelief.

Sometimes the original is better. The 1989 film with Fred Gwynne had more horror, camp, and down east Maine creepiness. This version fails in several places but I suppose it's ok if the viewer is not a fan of the original. Everyone has their favorites of the King films.

Great fun and down east campiness in this horror thriller. Fred Gwynne adds great weight to the ensemble of characters right out of the novel. Graveyards, dead children, and ghosts all make this one of the best of King's film adaptations. If you had a pet cemetery in the woods as a kid like I did, then this will awaken the childhood nightmare of dead pets. Sometimes the original is better.
