Gameplay is super fun and this game is a great way to revisit the series. AOT2 creates a story mode where you can input your own character that fits neatly into to the original story and offers the option to play as the classic characters as well. This game has a Spider-Man meets Astral Chain feel to it so if you like either of those games you’ll enjoy this one. The biggest downside is it’s a bit glitchy and often feels unfinished the Titans will glitch out and so will your character and its allies at times which can be funny but mostly annoying. The missions can be a bit unclear early on in the game but they come together. Overall worth a go the AOT series is captivating in itself and the game aligns almost perfectly with the series with great cutscenes that take you back to some of the best moments in the show.

I never thought I would like a side scroller but this game proved me wrong. Gameplay is super fun, great story and has a unique and plentiful variety of enemies. My only complaint would be the EMMIs are unpleasant to deal with but they also add a unique horror element to game so I guess they serve a purpose. Certainly a must have for Switch owners.

The graphics and landscapes are very clear and will remind you of BOTW. The open world concept adds an interesting element as well. So far I’d still say Rise is the best in the series but this takes second place for sure. I’m more of a hack and slash gamer so the Pokémon like battle sequences weren’t for me but the rest of features certainly made up for this aspect.
