Confronting. Watching in the same month that the US pulls out of Afghanistan and ISIS does a suicide bombings killing people desperately trying to leave the country. The future looks bleak for both Afghanistan AND the US when there's such a moral vacuum and political expediency rules over everything. As a movie, it is beautifully shot and the actors enormously talented. Watched it by fluke late at night before going to bed. Absolutely worth staying up for.
