If definitely lost the humor factor and it seemed white washed it didn’t really bring out the Hispanic culture that Selena brung to the table the film felt to staged when they laughed it didn’t feel genuine unlike Jennifer Lopez movie that was way better than this film I found this film extremely boring you forget you are watching Selena’s life and it feels like you are watching another Netflix serious Netflix created and there is a lot of scenes that are just awkward and this show mainly focused on every other character but Selena was resembled poorly it does not remind you of her unfortunately. The only reason people watch it is for the sole purpose of it being about Selena because we all loved and still love her. Her accent is also very annoying and it does not again remind you of her. That’s why my rating was a one but if you are into telenovelas in English like Jane the virgin then you should watch it because why not they spent time and money making the show, I love Selena
