So I read quite a few of the reviews already posted and I'm a little surprised. I really thought the ratings would be higher.
Although people are rarely as real as the characters in this film, the cast, et al in my opinion, deliver their lines so believably that I found myself tearing up several times.
The film's main plot is that of being relevant, not only where a prime time TV talk show is concerned, but in life itself.
That plot is revealed slowly and seamlessly throughout the movie. I got the point. That's why I periodically teared up. I don't feel like I had to read between the lines, and I liked what I saw very much.
It bolsters the hope and faith I've always had in people, whether they currently seemed to deserve it or not.
It's worth your time.
