I actually enjoyed the movie. In fact, my brother pointed out a lot of references to the previous 2 films before JuOn The Grudge was created. We both agreed on one time. And that is... This movie is a direct sequel to JuOn: The Grudge 1 & 2 not the American version. Because the Sarah Michelle Gellar films of The Grudge 1 & 2 are not mentioned in this movie!
