I have been watching/consuming with laser focus a variety of Public Affairs programming (and printed media) produced by all major American (and some foreign) networks for 50+ years. Doing so has provided, against personal experiences, a broad understanding of major issues & a window on how America has evolved both good and bad! Here, I choose to avoid criticism of any specific show or its moderators...given that very few outlets operate without some degree of "dynamic purposeful reasoning" (commonly >> base persuasions) for a series of historic reasons.
Rather, I propose that given all major issues & societal needs, ALL we American's consistently focus on addressing a few, simple yet fundamental questions: 1. What is the value of a Human life...regardless of socio-economic condition? 2. Which key principled leadership qualities are required by public officials to legislate sound, realistic, inclusive policy and corresponding laws? 3. What career background exposures/experiences/beliefs form a minimum qualifying resume for public service candidates? Lastly, Where do candidates for public office stand on the Environment, both natural and sociological?
We are all residents of our great Nation, and this Earth...we owe it to current and future generations - as a World leader - to design an ethical and sustainable future!
