Affleck and Bernthal are great, but the dialogue, tone, plot and writing are all over the place. Also, there are a lot of scenes that just feel so lazily written in (e.g. [1] Bernthal intro scene where he kills an apartment full of people, IN GERMANY nonetheless, without caring to mask his face AND lets a witness see his face + [2] an incredibly convenient sniper hit that takes place near a window in a government building... + [3] a really dumb shouting scene out in a street where a female agent is just being hysterical + [4] Bernthal outing himself as a murderer in front of an agent for the sake of being funny... I could go on...). Now, IMDB says the same guy who wrote the 1st Accountant movie is the same guy who wrote this sequel, but I just can't believe this. I mean, either someone who helped polish the 1st movie wasn't involved at all, or he was pressured to make dumb changes, or something else. I don't know. This could have been so much better but this movie feels like it's trying to be too many things for the sake of action and moving the plot along.

This movie almost killed me, and I approve of it. Been a while since I choked on food while watching something funny. I couldn't tell you why I chose to watch this movie or how I even heard of it. Maybe it was a trailer or some comment online, but I am glad I did. Sure, I almost died watching it, as food went into my nostrils while watching a scene where a character realizes his wife is going to [insert spoiler here]. Luckily I had water nearby and didn't die, but I almost did, but I didn't. So yay. Again, this movie had me in stitches laughing. Well worth a watch, especially with some munchies (*wink * wink*). Would advise watching with friends, I mean, this movie could potentially kill you. Literally.

Fun gem of a movie. Feels like a mix of the Count of Montecristo meets The Duelists meets Tarantino. The sound design is superb, I can't rave about it enough. Every echo, footstep, and rechambering of a weapon feels like you are there in the room. Highly recommended for those who like mystery adventure action movies. Loved the Victorian setting too. Boggles my mind why this movie doesn't get more attention. Looking forward to more movies from the director and the main actor: Pyotr Fyodorov,
