Did not follow the book, so disappointing. I dislike when movies make animals act like humans, so disappointing and a little cheesy.

This should have been a great story, unfortunately it was not. At times confusing, unrealistic that she did it all, ie.. going back to take care of two men all her self. Harriet should have been a great story, instead it was confusing, characters were not clearly explained. All the people that helped along the way were not explained, the actress was good but had one face for everything. Wish it was more. Left me disappointed when I was so excited.
