I likes season 1 because the show was quirky and different with understated humor. But season 2 dragged with no real advancement of the plot which is to find out who this guy really is. Stuff happened. But it seemed like useless filler -- like there was no real plan of where this was heading. The acting was good, but it just plodded a long with painfully dumb happenings. I don't think I can sit through another season of this.

It was gripping in many places, but I felt like not much happened story-wise. There's the brief flashback to Day 1, and then showing why the family moved on. But mostly it was just the same story from the original movie: creatures, sound. I guess there needs to be a 3rd movie to explain, advance, and resolve the story. This second movie didn't do much in that regard.
