This movie was so bad. The good reviews are lying. The plot moved so slow and the film was boring. Some bloody scenes but not enough to be considered a horror movie. Too many cut scenes and strobe lights that will leave you with a headache and made the movie feel like it was lazily made. Overall felt like a movie made by a college student

Well I read the book and watched the original. I would say the original was better in comparison to sticking to the way Richard Wright wanted it. But this movie makes the story more modern I guess. It also gives a different ending which surprised me. But overall was okay. Kinda got boring at a point. By the way the description Overhyped it way too much. But the original movie was better because it presented the original message. This movie was all over the place and vague. It changed the storyline from racism to some teen murder drama

Ugh. Where to begin. This movie is like a bad version of all the Saw movies combined into one. The plot is pointless and from the beginning you already what's going to happen. Overhyped!
